Ils sont actuellement un peu dodus....J'ai placé de nouvelles photos dans la gallerie pour votre plaisir! 2008-09-18THE PUPS ARE 1 MONTH OLD!!!!!They are doing just great as they play together, with their mom and our little Jasmine. I have updated new pics on the gallery files, for you to see. We still have one female available from this litter. LES CHIOTS ONT MAINTENANT 1 MOIS!!!! We are just about unpacked and then this morning.....something happened....Flash had her litter! 4 pups, 2 males, 2 females, all are doing great and Flash is an amazing mother! Nous sommes peu près dé-paquetés, ce qui n'est pas peu....Et ce matin....quelque chose d'extraordinaire est arrivé...Flash a eu ses petits chiots! 2 mâles et 2 femelles, tous vont très bien et Flash est très bonne maman! Revenez bientôt pour des photos de Flash avec ses chiots! 2008-08-07Hello all. Just coming back from a trip in southern France. WOW! Amazing week spent visiting the great treasures of the old country that have completely blown us away! We have been treated like royalty in our hotel by the beach and we have, of course, eaten the very best meals that France can offer! I would definetely recommend this hotel to anyone who would like to visit the region of Provence in France, while having the beach right at your door: their website is www.hp-lagrandemotte.fr The hosts are very nice and welcoming! Meanwhile Flash is definetely pregnant and has received the GOLD treatment this week while we were away: she has spent all her time with my parents and Jasmine, going at the beach, walking, playing, and having lots of attention. It is with great pleasure that we arrived home with Jazz, ( Jasmine ) Flash and the rest of the gang. Going away is fun, but home sweet home is even better.... Bonjour à tous. Nous revenons d'un voyage dans le sud de le France. WOW! Quelle semaine fantastique passée à visiter les trésors des vieux pays! Nous avons également été traités comme des rois dans notre hôtel près de la mer et nous avons, bien évidemment, mangé des mets succulents! Nous recommenderions cet hôtel à quiconque voudrait visiter le sud de la France, la Provence, tout en ayant la plage just devant votre chambre! Pendant ce temps, Flash est définitivement enceinte et a recu le traitement GOLD cette semaine: elle a passé toute la semaine avec mes parents et Jasmine, est allée à la mer, a marché, joué et s'est amusé beaucoup. C'est enfin avec un grand plaisir que nous avons retrouvé notre Jazz ( Jasmine ) Flash et tout le reste de la gang. Partir un peu est plaisant, mais il n'y a rien comme chez soi.... 2008-07-07Big News from Nordichope! We are relocating to Saint-André, in the Grand Falls, NB area! The big move is planned for August 15th! You think moving is complicated? Try to move a family of three including a small baby, PLUS 6 dogs and 5 cats!!! Aye! I can tell you it is a challenge! The dogs will be in their new castle, we just had their kennel measured today, they will have runs with access to both inside and outside our attached garage, they have wonderful trails to sled in, just behind our house! We are very excited, we brought Kira today with us to admire our new location, and she seemed excited too. We are thrilled to move, as we will have lots more time with the dogs, because we are now going to be on the exact same work schedule! What a relieve! No more playing single mom or single dad of 12!! On another hand, Flash appears pregnant right now. She is showing us signs, so we are in big hopes that she is carrying little babies inside. Grandes nouvelles de Nordichope! Nous relocalisons à Saint-André, dans le coin de Grand Sault, Nouveau-Brunswick! Le déménagement est prévu pour le 15 août! Vous pensez que déménager est compliqué? Essayez de le faire avec une famille de 3, PLUS 6 chiens et 5 chats!!! Aye!! Je peux vous dire que c'est tout un défi! Les chiens seront installés dans un véritable château, nous venons justement de faire mesurer leur enclos aujourd'hui. Ils auront des corridors attachés au garage avec accès à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur, ils auront de merveilleux sentiers pour le traîneau juste derrière la maison! Nous avons emmené Kira avec nous aujourd'hui et elle avait l'air très excitée aussi! Nous le sommes également, car nous aurons maintenant les mêmes horaires de travail, et donc plus de temps pour tout le monde! Quel soulagement de ne plus être père ou mère célibataire dû à des horaires opposés! Sur une autre note, Flash va très bien. Elle semble enceinte présentement, car elle nous montre quelques signes précurseurs. Nous avons beaucoup espoir qu'elle porte quelques petits malamutes dans son ventre! 2008-06-26On Thursday the 19th of June, I left for Trois-Rivières to go get Flash after the breeding....Long trip of 15 hours back and forth. !!! It was an interesting trip considering we had many storms coming back. We are all back at the house and enjoying the beginning of the summer with the dogs. Le jeudi 19 juin, je suis partie chercher Flash à Trois-Rivières après l'accouplement. Long voyage de 15 heures aller-retour!!! C'était un voyage intéressant dû au fait que nous avons eu plusieurs orages sur le chemin du retour. Nous sommes maintenant de retour à la maison et nous apprécions le début de l'été avec les chiens. 2008-06-13On the 9th at night, Rich, Jasmine, Flash and I set out for a long trip to Montreal to Nordiclight Kennels. There was waiting beautiful, handsome, gorgeous Nunavik....We left Flash there with her new found love and will go pick her up next week....Will miss her! Le 9 juin, Richard, Jasmine, Flash et moi sommes partis pour un long voyage à Montréal au chenil Nordiclight. Là bas nous attendait le beau Nunavik....Nous avons laissé Flash là-bas avec son nouvel amoureux et repartons la chercher la semaine prochaine. Elle va nous manquer! Chinook grabbed a 2 point win and we were very happy with that! Check out the litter page announcement! Visitez la nouvelle page des chiots dans leurs nouvelles familles! 2008-05-05Ah....Mixed feelings on the 1st and 2nd of May when all our little ones left for their families. Very sad to say farewell to our first born, and very happy too to see the parents all excited and finally united with the ones they had been waiting for. To Freki, Gunnar, Taqulik, Maui, Mei Mei, Ago and Mikko: Have the best of lives! We did our very best to find good loving homes for you! Wishing you the very best of life in your new forever home! and to Atka...well...buddy. you stay with us....watch out for him, he is going to be a handsome boy! Reality check:Try this: wash and groom 7 puppies, prepare a house for showing ( our property is up for sale ) and prepare for sho 2 adult females, all in 2 days! Well....let me tell ya! Days at work last week were a breeze compare to those at home! BUT...it is all over now, and life goes on. But let's talk about the show. We were all pumped up for our first show this season...not that we did many last year: only 3. So we packed up, and drove for 3 hours, getting up at 4:30 am...wonderful. We finally got there. Running around for our numbers, last minute grooming, setting up tables, cages, etc. Geez!!! That involves so much work! OK. Finally in the ring. It was a disaster. A complete catastrophe. Chinook and Flash were just over excited and would just move too mich when stacking them, they would jump around, and oh...I spare the rest. Flash ended up behaving at last so she did get a BOB point. Good. But we were quite upset, it was such a let down, after days of practice with them and all. So, Rich and I went outside after to talk it off. What do you know....just a bit later, someone comes outside running screaming my name, and telling me I am missing the group show! Group what??? Yeah. COmpletely forgot about that. Well, I could not feel more like a fool that day. So I sweat my way up to the group show, which was just a continuity of the disaster.....So when Rich and I were just taking the girls out for a walk after this, I was just ready to call it QUITS. But, as we walked, we saw a physically handicaped child coming out of the building, and we had our reality check just right there: we are lucky. We are blessed with a beautiful healthy daughter, we are both healthy, and we have the chance to share a dream, a vision, that lives with us and our mals. Yes, a reality check. That disaster day turned into a laughing day. We decided to go back in and have some fun. Guess what???? Cinook finally earned her 3 first points!!! So that was LOTS of fun!!! The pups are doing well. Some of them got the runs coming to their new homes, but it seems to be fine now. I will put up pics of them with the new parents as soon as I get a chance. Got another house visit tonight, and I am playing single mom, Rich gone at work :-) Talk to you soon!
